The nation’s strongest and quickest cyclists took to the roads on Friday’s public holiday to participate in one of the Cook Island Triathlon Association’s flagship events, the BSP 100K cycle challenge.
The Cook Islands Triathlon Association held their second mountain biking ride for the Movember initiative on Saturday. After a successful first ride the weekend before they were excited to get together and get riding again for the cause.
For the past eight weeks you may have seen cyclists out on our roads on a Thursday and Saturday afternoon. There has been a steady training build up ahead of the Annual BSP 100K (kilometre) Cycle Challenge which will be held this coming Saturday, starting at 2pm opposite the Latter Day Saints Church in Arorangi.
