Fiji’s Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka, who is due to visit the Cook Islands later in the year, is hoping to reunite with a group of Cook Islands sailors who were held hostage in the Indian Ocean by Tamil Tigers pirates in the late 1980s.

Represented by Bergman Gallery since 2021, her work includes photography, installation, sculpture, video, painting and performance, all seeded from her experience as a second-generation Pasifika - a New Zealand, and more specifically Ōtautahi Christchurch, born Cook Islander. Her exhibition was launched on Rarotonga last week.
