Competitive touch rugby matches are expected at the Nikao field today, with evenly-matched teams set to face off in the open men’s and women’s division. Open men’s team Da Boys play twice this afternoon and will face the go-getter Manatoa side first up before an even tougher second match against the skilled Tumeke Smurfs outfit. The young Under 20 team will have their work cut out for them today when they face the speedy Tepuka Brothers team, while a fast and furious encounter is expected between the Nukz Power men’s team and the young Germinators. In the women’s division, Vaine Toa go up against a fast improving Nukz Power team, while the FBI and Lifters match at 5.30pm is sure to be a fiery encounter. The Bounty Hunters will want to exact some revenge over South Coast Scorpions who rattled the side some weeks ago adding to today’s touch tension at Nikao field. Games get underway at 5pm.
