Defending champions Tupapa Panthers have made it through to the Raro Sevens Tournament quarter-final.

The side defeated Mangaia 14-0 and Razorbacks 19-15 in pool play yesterday at the National Stadium in Nikao.

The Panthers will take on Atiu in the first Cup quarters at 1.48pm followed by Yalovata versus Vikings, Aitutaki versus Avatiu Blues and Pukapuka versus Mangaia matches.

Top bets Avatiu Gold and Bears bombed out of the pool competition and will feature in the bowls semis today.
