The round one competition will kick start with the open men’s and women’s matches followed by the mixed grade on Wednesday.
Cook Islands Touch Association held three muster tournaments in lead up to the season opener, giving teams an opportunity to polish their performance before round one competition.
Association president Daphne Brown said spots were still available in a men’s team competing this season.
“Team Four, is still looking for players. Anyone wanting to get into a men’s team can come to the field and see the bench official,” she said.
All teams are reminded to be on time and in uniform. Team managers are to report to the bench at 5pm with their team registration forms.
- Hash run in Nikao :Hash House Harriers will meet seaside in Nikao for the Australia Day run/walk. Hare will be Poly and venue is the new Rarotonga Brewery opposite Oasis Service Station. The brewery has generously sponsored some refreshments – after the run! Please wear or bring something Australian. The run commences at 5:30pm and all runners, walkers and talkers are welcome.
