The Queen’s Birthday weekend saw the first part of this year’s Kumete programme with the Kumete cycle race on Saturday run by the Cook Islands Cycling Federation.

Cook Islands Badminton celebrated the end of term one classes with a Queen’s Birthday Weekend Tournament.

The annual sports awards receive green-light to go ahead from management of Edgewater Resort, which is also being used as quarantine facility for returning Cook Islanders. 

Participants battled choppy waters and sweltering conditions at the annual women’s triathlon event.
