The event will be hosted by the Business and Professional Women’s Association (BPW) at the Muri Beach Club Hotel, starting at 6pm.
Eleven local businesses will be judged on product, service brand, marketing strategy, innovation and their entrepreneurial spirit, and the overall winner will be announced.
Earlier, BPW secretary and local businesswoman Karlene Pynenburg said the awards were an initiative to recognise young entrepreneurial women, under 35 years old, living in the Cook Islands and who had started their own businesses from the “grassroots” and made them successful.
Entries are pre-sold tickets sales only, priced at $70 for BPW members, and $75 for non-BPW members. There will be a buffet and live entertainment, followed by the award presentation. Tickets are available from Muri Beach Club hotel and the Chamber of Commerce. The event is sponsored by Muri Beach Club Hotel, The Computer Man, Air New Zealand, The Bond Store, Bank of South Pacific and Cook Islands Chamber of Commerce.
