Resorts want concrete date

Travellers to Rarotonga have been cancelling their accommodation pre-bookings in September and October amid growing uncertainty around when a concrete date will be set for opening the borders.

Air New Zealand has pushed out its bookings freeze on international flights to August 9, but Deputy Prime Minister Mark Brown remains optimistic Cook Islands tourism will soon be open for business.
