The Laughing Samoans are set to get the weekend off to a giggling start when they perform at the National Auditorium tonight.

The Laughing Samoans made up of Eteuati Ete and Tofiga Fepulea'i arrived on Rarotonga yesterday afternoon ready to perform their new show, “Fink About It.”

The show will see the return of all your favourite Laughing Samoan characters such as Aunty Taia, Uncle Sam, Paul and Victor, the father and son and the Samoan married to the European, as well as another episode of the children’s TV programme, “Island Time.”

And the pair are excited to be back on Rarotonga to perform.

“It’s always nice to come back to the islands. The weather is beautiful here,” said Ete.

“Summer hasn’t arrived in New Zealand yet, so it’s great to be here.”

Asked what makes island humour so unique, Fepulea’i said it’s all about the big belly laugh.

“It’s more physical in terms of facials. The constant laughter from islanders is dangerous because of all the slapping around.”

Tickets for Fink About It are still available from opposite the Police station from 11am to 3pm and from the Auditorium from 4pm.
