Giants Titikaveka and Avatiu premier teams remain unbeaten after week three matches in the Rarotonga Netball Club Competition.

On Saturday, Titikaveka hosted Takuvaine and won 63-42 while Avatiu defeated Tupapa 39-28.

In the other premier match, Arorangi defeated Ngatangiia 52-36.

Netball Cook Islands secretary Tekura Moekaa said they witnessed mixed results from week three matches “with wins for all clubs and no club taking a clean sweep”.

“Some clubs voiced that they are just getting into it, and would have liked to see two rounds but understand there are competing sports and functions this year.”

The week four games will begin this afternoon with the opens match. Tupapa will host Takuvaine, Arorangi will play Avatiu and Ngatangiia/Matavera will take on Titikaveka.

Meanwhile the Netball Cook Islands Golf Ambrose will be held on Friday, May 12. Register a team, all funds go towards the squad’s participation in the Singapore Cup and Pacific Games
