The Punanga Nui Market, a vibrant hub of activity on a Saturday morning, is usually quieter during the week. However Mamaou, Maropa and Nicholas still frequent the market in the mornings from Monday to Friday to sell their home grown produce. The market stall holders showcase a wide variety of products, including fruits and vegetables from their own family home-grown plantations. Some of the items you can find include coconut oil, turmeric, lime, mandarins, bananas, okra, eggplant, freshly made fruit juices, and whatever produce is in season.
