It’s an exciting year for children attending the Island Bubz Daycare Centre.

Located at the Arepua Gateway Church in Takuvaine, the centre is planning to integrate more of Te Reo Kuki Airani into their daily programme this year.

With 15 children attending the centre this week, owner Rakera Tatuava-Siason says the programme will be implemented through songs, dance and reading.

Tatuava-Siason is encouraging parents who are looking for daycare centres to bring their children to them.

“We’re one of a few day-cares on the island that provide a healthy cooked lunch daily for our tamariki.

“Overall, we aim to provide a safe space and environment for our tamariki to grow to their full potential.”

Tatuava-Siason says enrolment is still open and they are expecting more children to arrive as they may still be on holiday mode.
