Grassroots line up for semi-finals
U12 Mix action between Avatiu and Titikaveka. 21120729

The final move to finals, the grassroots divisions will play their battles from 4pm today to find out who will be progressing into the finals next week.

All will unfold at CIFA Complex.

The U6 mix as usual will be the first games as punters enter the gates, with exciting matches between the undefeated Titikaveka and Puaikura young warriors.

On the next field, fierce competitors Matavera will play the young guns in black and white, Tupapa Maraerenga, to see who advances to the finals.

Tupapa Maraerenga’s skilled ballers in the U8 mix division, who also stand undefeated, will go head on with Titikaveka for their decider.

Then neighbours Nikao Sokattak and Avatiu will fight for a chance to play next week, this U8 mix division are a skilled lot, to watch and are sure to put a battle on during today’s match ups.

The last field will be the U10 mix, a fiery lot that come on field showcasing a fantastic football match.

Today the blue and yellow troopers Avatiu will play the powerful Matavera side, while next door, Tupapa Maraerenga’s young and talented will play the red and yellow jumpers to see who will be taking a place in the finals.

Last but definitely not least, the U12 mix will commence their semi-final matches on field two, CIFA bottom field.

Avatiu will play Puaikura while Nikao Sokattak take on Matavera.

All four are eyeing out the finals spot but only two will go through, these footballers are sure to give it their all as this will be the final ride for those playing today.

Also fighting for the final spot in the U18 mens comp, Avatiu and Tupapa Maraerenga are sure to be hungry for a win in their match today.

They will play at 5.45pm after the grassroots, each have worked hard to make it in to the semi-finals but only one will take a seat in the finals.

It is without a doubt that both teams will bring their all today as this game is the final say so.
