The 2022 Rarotonga Football Season is set to start end of this month.

With teams and players returning from international fixtures, it is finally time to showcase our local talent here in Rarotonga. The 2022 Rarotonga Football Season is set to start on Wednesday, August 31, with the grassroots age groups and an under-18 men’s match at CIFA Complex.

Rarotonga has six participating football clubs in this annual season – Avatiu FC, Matavera FC, Nikao Sokattak FC, Puaikura FC, Titikaveka FC and Tupapa Maraerenga FC.

These teams will enter nine different divisions, U6, U8, U10 and U12 mix grassroots, U15 Boys and Girls Youth as well as the U18 Men, Senior Women and the Premier Men.

Each team will go head to head twice, competing for the 2022 Round Cup Champions and the 2022 Overall Winner this season. Some clubs have already started their preparation for the 2022 season.
