As we enter the last round of the Round Cup, and the festive season, grassroots players will be in for a Santa surprise today, as they play their last football matches before teams get their 2021 trophies.

The usual 4.15pm starter hooter will take our U6, U8, U10 and U12 Mix on field, for their final three points gain.

The energetic U6 Mix will be the first to watch when entering the gates today as undefeated blue warriors Titikaveka will be taking on the kiddos from Puaikura for their final battle, and will be sure to end their reign at first on a high.

Meanwhile, the kids dressed in black playing for Tupapa Maraerenga will be taking on their neighbours Matavera for their final curtain drawer.

In the U8 Mix division, Tupapa Maraerenga’s unconquered fierce ballers will be up against Nikao Sokattaks fleeted foot today as Tupapa will want to end their final day with the round cup trophy back in their grasp.

Meanwhile, Avatiu will be challenged by Titikaveka for their last match, and Matavera will be at war with Puaikura.

Tupapa’s U10 Mix will take on Nikao Sokattak, hungry for a victory as they sit neck to neck with Avatiu, who will play Titikaveka, as Tupapa hopes to take the Round Cup title from Avatiu.

Matavera and Puaikura will be playing each other today, and all teams are sure to bring cheers and laughter to their field as they play their last games.

The fiery U12 Mix division that Avatiu leads, and who are the current title holders, will want to win their match against second place holders Titikaveka in order to complete their final round on a high and keep their title.

Tupapa are to take on Nikao, while Matavera play Puaikura.

These games today are not ones to miss as our grassroots will be giving it their all and showing their best set of skills.
