Former NZ cricket players are to assist with the development of female cricketers in the Cook Islands.

Earlier this week the general manager for CI Cricket, Alister Stevic, announced that they had two respected ex NZ cricketers in Catherine Campbell and Delwyn Costello set to run an exciting women’s Telecom high performance training session next week.

Stevic said that the standard of and passion for women’s cricket continues to grow in strength and CI Cricket looks forward to its member clubs taking advantage of this opportunity to develop their teams’ ability from players who have been at the very top of women’s cricket internationally”.

The Telecom HP session will be held on Tuesday October 5 at the Nikao Field or Princess Anne Hall if raining – thank you to Alan Syme and Tereora College for their support of women’s cricket.
