The Ngatangiia Flying Dragons and Titikaveka Bulls have certainly begun their 2010 ruby season strongly – a contrast from previous years.

Already this season these two clubs have surprised many and heading into last Saturday’s games – the Dragons were leading the points table ahead of the Avatiu Eels in second and the Bulls in third place.

The Dragons are still undefeated this season with a 16-16 draw against the Bulls on Saturday. The Bulls have lost just one game when they let the Eels slip in to win in the third week clash.

This weekend the Dragons will face the Eels – who are also undefeated so far in this competition. The Eels however were held to a low scoring game by the Takuvaine Warriors on Saturday with the Eels again slipping in to win this match 8-3.

The Bulls will face a fired up Arorangi Cowboys side who seem to have gotten their campaign on the right track now after thrashing the Tupapa Panthers 38-3 on Saturday.

The winless Panthers could just be waiting for the right opportunity to pounce and they will face the Takuvaine warriors this weekend. Meanwhile, tomorrow the under 16 Powerade Challenge will be played at the Tupapa Park.
