Around 20 individuals and the same number of teams are expected to take part in this Saturday’s annual Tin Man Triathlon.
The local Tin Man triathlon is a lead up to the big one – the Air New Zealand Rarotonga International Triathlon scheduled for May 1.
This Saturday’s Tin Man will start at 2pm from the Tikioti tri site.
Athletes will compete over a course consisting of a 12000m swim, 31km cycle (round the island) and ending with a 10km run.
Be sure to be at Tikioki for the triathlon to cheer on our local athletes who will tough it out in the Tin Man.
