Touch rugby starts back today

The local touch rugby tournament restarts today at the BCI Stadium with the open men’s and women’s competition starting at 5.30pm.

Six games will be played this evening with plenty of action for spectators.

Open men’s team Bigboy will take on the Flying Ducks from Ngatangiia in the first game of the evening while the TSL women’s team will meet FBI in the first women’s game of the evening.

On Wednesday the mixed touch rugby teams will have their time in the spotlight as they play out their tournament.

Below is today’s open tournament draw and Wednesday’s mixed division draw.

Monday’s draw: Open Men (on field one) – 5.30pm-BIGBOY vs Flying Ducks, 6.00pm-Rama vs Atiu Warriors, 6.30pm-Vikings vs Kamikaze Bulletz, Bye Germinators.

Open Women (on field two) – 5.30pm TSL vs FBI, 6.00pm Bounty Hunters vs Can’t Touch Dis, 6.30pm Paradise Pearls vs Kamikaze Heat.

Wednesday night mixed open draw: 5.30pm (on field one) TSL Schnappers vs Vikings, 5.30pm (on field two) Kamikazi Fighters vs Dog Rockers, 6.00pm (on field one) 007 vs Westpac, 6.00pm (on field two) Educationlists vs Nukutere College.
