Teams suss out final strategies

Rugby league teams already through to next weeks grand finals will be the most interested spectators at todays rugby league semi final games at the BCI Stadium along, of course, with each competing clubs die hard supporters.

Waiting in the wings after progressing to the grand finals are the Arorangi Bears under 13, under 16 and reserve grade as well as the Avatiu Eels under 19 and premier grade.

Players in these grades will no doubt be watching every move of the games tonight to suss out last minute strategies for the grand finals.

The main premier grade match is between the Tupapa Panthers and Ngatangiia Sea Eagles and it is expected to be an intense match as neither side are prepared to end their season now.

Fans are encouraged to get on up to the BCI Stadium and support their team.

Games start at 3pm with the under 13 grade and the main game is scheduled to kick off at 7.30pm.

Semi finals draw for Saturday 21 at the BCI Stadium 3pm under 13 Eels vs Panthers, Ref-B Bishop assisted by J Murray and R Mato, 4pm under 16 Bears vs Eels, Ref-T Tuakana and R Mato and P Mitchell, 5pm under 19 Bears vs Panthers, Ref-N Tou assisted by K Kopu and B Bishop, 6pm reserves Bulldogs vs Eels, Ref-A Emile assisted by T Tuakana and P Ngaroi, 7.30pm premiers Panthers vs Sea Eagles, Ref-S Willis assisted by T Manea and S Teiotu, sub officials-P Mitchell and B Bishop, in goal officials-N Tou and K Kopu.
