The Cook Islands Swim team are gunning to improve their times at the Oceania Swimming Championships next week and qualify for the Youth Olympic Games in Singapore in August.

The team of Tepaia Payne and swimming siblings Celeste and Aaron Brown will be accompanied by team manager Lisa Iro to the Oceania Swimming Championships in Samoa for their second build-up towards the Youth Olympic Games.

The young trio have been training hard for the past six months for this particular event and will continue to train for upcoming events.

Cook Islands Aquatic Association president Romani Katoa says that updates from the athletes indicate that all should be improving on their previous swim times as they eye up the Youth Olympics.
