In the main Lotto Premier Men’s soccer match played on Saturday at Victoria Park, Tupapa and Nikao Sokattak drew nil all.

Sokattak got off to a good start dominating with ball possession and pounding at the Tupapa goal area but was unable to finish off their chances.

Nikao’s tricky striker Teariki Mateariki caused a few hair raising moments but when Nikao Sokattak had an opportunity to take the lead in the first half with a penalty kick awarded to them the goal was disallowed due to an encroachment by one of their players.

Tupapa’s Campbell Best had a goal scoring opportunity with only the goalkeeper to beat but the brilliance of Nikao keeper Romeo Keu prevented the goal from being scored.

In the second half the pace of the game picked up with both teams having goal scoring opportunities however they could not convert into goals.
