Sokattak beats Titikaveka 4-1

Nikao Sokattak were convincing winners in their away game at Titikaveka on Saturday and with the final score 4-1, Sokattak was the superior team.

However ,Titikaveka managed to break the Nikao defence once and find the back of the net much to the surprise of the Nikao supporters.

Nikao built up their moves from defence and were able to exploit the width of the field to its maximum through the Tisam brothers and Steve Cuthers.

In the other Premier Men’s match played last Friday between Tupapa and Matavera, Tupapa had Matavera pinned back in their own territory for long periods of the first half, however, Matavera at times posed a threat on the counter attack.

Tupapa winning that match 5-0.

At the Raemaru Park, Avatiu exploited the Arorangi defense to slot eight balls past the keeper. Arorangi only managed to get one goal but wasn’t enough to give them hope of a close game. Avatiu winning that game 8-1.
