Sharks lift standard

The Aremango Sharks have raised the standard in the BCI social mixed volleyball tournament, scoring a massive 114 points in its game and posting a season high score for the competition.

The Sharks beat the Turtles Fani 114-70 in round six of the competition, in the highest-scoring game for the season to date.

In the same pool, BCI Real Steel gave WACKeez a scare but narrowly missed out on taking the win. WACKeez coming away 79-77 in the tight match.

TVK1 took the third and final win for pool B, beating Fiji Me 79-73.

In the pool A play, Party Rock beat TVK2 99-76, Ruks outscored team Kick Ass 87-68 and Tokoroa Pride beat OKA 82-69.

This Wednesday, the teams will play out round 7 of the 10-round competition, three games at a time at the Telecom Sports Arena courts.

At 6pm, WACKeez will play Aremango Sharks (duty team OKA), Fiji Me verse BCI Real Steel (duty team Kick Ass), and TKV1 line up against Turtles Fani (duty team Party Rock).

At 7pm, Ruks take on Tokoroa Pride (duty team Turtles Fani), TVK2 tussle with Kick Ass (duty team BCI Real Steel), and Party Rock take aim at OKA (duty team TVK1).
