Primary schools to battle it out for round cup

The Cook Islands Football Association will be holding its Rarotonga Primary School Round Cup Soccer Tournament for forms 1 and 2 students starting this Friday at the CIFA complex in Matavera.

The primary school round cup is played after school at the CIFA complex over a period of five weeks.

CIFA’s technical development manager Jimmy Katoa and Tuka Tisam have been visiting schools around Rarotonga teaching and coaching the children football.

Friday’s draw: 2.30pm (girls kick off) – field 1-Avarua vs Nikao (group A),field 2-Te Uki Ou vs Nukutere (group B), field 3-Arorangi vs Titikaveka/Papaaroa (group A).

3.05pm (boys kick off) – field 1-Avarua vs Nikao (group A), field 2-Te Uki Ou vs Nukutere (group B), field 3-Arorangi vs Titikaveka/Papaaroa (group A).
