The BCI Stadium is going to be turned into an open air gym on Thursday for the mass Zumba party where those of you taking part in the Vaevae Challenge can earn bonus points.

The Ministry of Health in conjunction with the Top Shape Gym, Cook Islands Sports and National Olympic Office and CITC are inviting the general public to the one day Zumba party.

This is going to be a fun event that is sure to get your heart pumping and your body moving.

The Zumba party is a warm up to the 2010 Olympic Day Fun Run on Tuesday, June 22.

The fun run will be held from the Punanga Nui Market with four walking or running distances available.

For beginners or those with creaky knees, a 1km circuit will do the trick or test yourself on the 3km circuit.

This is also another opportunity for those Vaevae Challenge teams to earn 50 bonus points per team member.

So make sure you mark down in your diary that this Thursday is the Zumba party at the BCI Stadium and next Tuesday is the fun run bring a mate or the whole family for a fun fat burning day.
