Saturday 4: International Olympic Committee president Jacques Rogge has been invited to attend the Pacific Mini Games in Rarotonga later in the year.

Last weekend, a delegation from the board of the organising committee fronted up to the games council in Queenstown, New Zealand, to update SPG members on the situation relating to the games, and to answer concerns the council has on preparations.

Board chairman and CISNOC president Tiki Matapo, John Tierney and Rosie Blake conducted the presentation, and touched base with the IOC president during the gathering.. - Moana Moeka’a
