Soccer referees Tupou Patia and Terry Piri have been selected to officiate in the OFC Women’s Nations Cup to be held in Auckland, New Zealand, kicking off on September 29 and finishing on October 8.

For Terry Piri this will be his first international exposure as a soccer official – he has his sights set on a learning experience at this tournament.

Patia is no stranger to national exposure – she has already represented the Cook Islands as an official at the OFC Women’s Under 20 and the OFC Women’s Under 17 tournaments which both took place earlier this year in Auckland.

Their hard work has booked them a ticket to showcase their ability of officiating in the game of football and why not at the OFC Women’s Nations Cup Tournament.

Tupou will officiate as a referee and Terry as an assistant referee.

Tupou and Terry are due to depart tomorrow morning for the week long event.
