Nikao host Avatiu

Soccer rivals Nikao and Avatiu usually produce a riveting and competitive game and today’s match should be no different.

Nikao should start as favourites to take the three points, however they would be foolish to underestimate the Avatiu side.

Avatiu have shown in their previous two games this season that they are capable of upsetting any of the top teams.

Under the coaching skills of Alex Napa, Nikao’s premier men’s team have continued to prosper and with the evergreen Steve Cuthers dominating their midfield, Steven Willis organising the defence and Teariki Mateariki dangerous up front, they will be a handful for Avatiu.

With the steadying influence of Tairi Elikana in defence and the combination of Atu Putere, Marcello Rairoa and Mana Mokoroa in attack, Avatiu are bound to cause problems for their more favored opponents.
