More action for juniors

The 2012 rugby league season wrapped up at the weekend but age grade players will return to the field this week for the under 16 country versus town trials and the under 13 Cook Islands versus Toa Samoa.

These two events will be held on Tuesday at the Ngatangiia field where a selection Cook Islands under 13 squad will face the visiting Toa Samoa team from New Zealand. This game will kick off at 4pm at the Ngatangiia field followed by the under 16 country versus town trial match at 5pm. The under 16 Town team, made up of players from the Panthers, Warriors and Eels club will have a light training this afternoon at the Nikao field under the guidance of coach Howard Tangimetua and William Taripo.

The under 16 Country team, made up players from the Bulldogs, Sea Eagles and Bears clubs will gather at the Titikaveka field for training with the team to be coached by Ratu Mato and Anthony Brown.

The community at large is encouraged to get along to Ngatangiia for these two exciting age grade games on Tuesday.
