Want to try something new these school holidays?

Take part in the free Raro Kids’ Triathlon on Wednesday, April 21.

And best of all it’s not a serious race so there will be plenty of fun to be had – go on, give it a try.

Registration of athletes begins at 9.30am on the day, and the race gets underway at 10.30pm at the beach opposite the Papaaroa College in Titikaveka.

There will be two race courses available including a 50m swim, 2km bike and 1km run for kids aged between four and eight.

For older kids aged between nine and fifteen, the course will be over a 100m swim, 4km bike and 1km run. If that sounds like fun, make sure you’re at the Papaaroa beach by 9.30am on Wednesday, April 21.

The kids’ triathlon is being run in conjunction with Sanitarium New Zealand which is supplying t-shirts, caps and medals for all the competitors.
