The ANZ Tamariki Sports programme will splash back into swimming lessons on Wednesday, November 9, as the days grow hotter and the cooling sea beckons.
Sports coach Ake Hosea-Winterflood is looking forward to another fantastic season of swimming with children aged between 7 and 11 years-old.
The 6-week swimming programme will be held every Wednesday at the Social Centre beach opposite the national tennis courts from November 9 to December 14 and will focus on basic swimming techniques as well as safety around water.
Kids will need proper swimming gear including togs and goggles, plenty of enthusiasm and $5 for the whole six week course.
