Tennis lessons for beginners, intermediate and advanced junior players starts up again next week.

Lessons will run every day for the next two weeks of the school holidays at the Nikao tennis centre for kids of all ages and levels of tennis.

First time tennis players are all welcome to join the beginner’s classes starting at 9am on Monday.

First time players will be introduced to the game and taught the correct techniques of holding and hitting the ball with a racquet before the fun really begins.

The hour long beginner’s class will then be followed by lessons for intermediate level tennis players starting at 10am.

Intermediate level players will polish up their skills with some fun tennis drills and competitive games.

The intermediate class ends at 1pm each day before the advanced tennis players take to the courts at 3pm for their intense training with coach Malcolm Kajer.

When school starts up again on January 26, the normal after school tennis programme will resume for all players from first timers to the advanced junior players.

Meanwhile Kajer has already started taking private lessons for adults and kids at the courts in Nikao and to book a slot with Kajer or to register your child’s interest to take up tennis – contact Kajer on 75614.
