Tonight is fight night and the Telecom Sports Arena is expected to rock for the 10 bouts scheduled for the evening including a ‘surprise bout’.

The event is a combined fundraiser for the Cook Islands Sports Association and the Amateur Boxing Association preparing boxers for the Delhi Commonwealth Games in October.

Bouts will include junior bouts such as the first match up of the night between 14-year-old Christian Toa and Harmon Royal.

Bouts will also see CISA students take to the ring to face up and coming boxers rising through club ranks.

As the night draws on, bouts are expected to get more intense as the association shows off its Commonwealth Games athletes including Eddie Daniel and Bernard Okotai.

Fight night starts at 6.30pm, so get in early and get comfortable for the biggest rumble of the year.

And keep your eyes peeled for celebrity draw card Monty Betham.
