Swim series regulars Shannon Saunders and Petero Okotai will be among the swimming enthusiasts tackling tomorrow’s King and Queen of the Harbour swim from Avatiu harbour to Trader Jacks pebble beach in the Avarua harbour.

The swim, estimated to be about 1.1km, is part of the weekly swim series and is expected to be an annual fixture on the swimming calendar.

Registration for the swim starts at 5pm and the swim starts at 5.15pm.

The swim is open to everyone and is a good opportunity for triathletes to swim without the coral and for casual swimmers to take on the challenge in the safety of a group.

The first man and woman across the finish line will be crowned King and Queen of the harbour.
