Guns blazing at volleyball

Team tactics and set moves will be the highlight of tonight’s round three of the Vonnia’s Corporate 6 on 6 volleyball league at the Telecom Sports Arena.

Although the league is a ‘social’ event with emphasis on fun – some teams just can’t help but pull out their big guns and come out firing, which is of course encouraged to lift the standard of volleyball.

And the big guns CITC Smackdowns will be locked and loaded tonight as they will want to get back to the number one spot after being pushed back to second place by the cheeky Turtle Diggz crew.

CITC Smackdowns will face Telecom this evening while Turtle Diggz will meet Manea Foods Boom team.

There’s never a dull moment at the Telecom Sports Arena on a Friday night what with three action packed games running on the hour from 5pm to 8 o’clock.

Teams are reminded that games will start on time and if you fail to be on court with your team 5 minutes after the start of games – you forfeit the game.

If you manage to get on court within the 5 minutes, you will be penalized and 5 points will automatically be added to your opponent’s score.

So get in nice an early and avoid giving your opponents the upper hand.
