Business House Golf re-starts today and tomorrow for the year 2011.

Already there is evidence that golfers and non-golfers have been out on the Rarotonga Golf Course dusting out their golf rhythm to serve out seven more weeks of golf Ambrose.

Current leaders in the 48 team Ambrose is team Yellow Page with a nett of 65.75, 2nd placing Te Nira Store on 68.24 and in third place is team Te Mana Arai with 69.30 – .08 away from 4th placing Ziconie on 69.38.

In the Gross, the leaders are Air NZ and Air Rarotonga both tied 103 while the runner-up is Ziconie with 104 and in 4th place is Mana Arai and Yellow Pages on 105.

The result does not include the throw away round or worse score, however the top ten spot is all up for grabs with only one or two shots apart.

Team golfers will be scanning the results in the next three weeks to keep their position in the top 18 to avoid playing for the wooden spoon prize in the finals.

Over the festive period a number of families have also been seen on the golf course testing their golf skills and eventually celebrating Xmas and New Year at the 19th hole.

The normal Ham Hunt and Vets nights or Old School golfers were in full swing on Tuesday and Wednesday this week and the hospitality over the festive period took its toll considering the high score coming back. Happy Golfing.
