Finals time at volleyball

Today sees the final games of the 2010 Vonnia’s Corporate Mixed 6 on 6 Volleyball League.

Expect all the matches to be great games as each team battles it out to secure a win. While the 5pm, 6pm and 7pm games will see teams attempt to secure rankings from third to eighth in each of the three pools, the 8pm games sees six teams battling for first and second places in Pools A, B and C.

Players will also be playing to impress Italian International Coach Fabio Menta, who arrived in Rarotonga last Monday and who will be her for three months.

A reminder to all players wanting to try out for the Cooks national volleyball men’s and women’s teams that training will recommence on Monday at 8pm for the women and 9.30pm for the men.

The schedule of the training nights for the remainder of the week will be given out on Monday night. Intending players wanting to join the training are welcome to attend.
