Today’s rugby league action will be at Nukupure Park and at Raemaru Park.

At Ngatangiia, the Ngatangiia Sea Eagles age grades will rumble against the Warriors from Takuvaine. The Sea Eagles premier grade is on a bye this weekend and the Warriors senior played the Sharks on their home turf in Aitutaki.

Also at Ngatangiia will be the first league masters match that has been generating a lot of excitement among 40-plus players keen to show the young ones how league was played back in the day.

The masters league match kicks off at 2.15pm and don’t forget to wear the correct coloured shorts.

Meanwhile at Raemaru Park the raging Arorangi Bears will go head to head with the Tupapa Panthers in what is going to be a bruising encounter.

Games at Arorangi start at 12.30pm with the under 13 grade and the premier grade game kicks off at 5pm.

Yesterday the Titikaveka Bulldogs were in town taking on the Avatiu Eels at the Swamp.
