CITC puts up cash prizes for

crazy dress-up competition

Dress up, get wild and Gap It to the sevens and you and your mates could be in to win some awesome prizes.

Sevens in heaven presenting partner CITC is dishing out cash prizes for the best dressed team, best dressed supporters team and the team with the craziest hat.

Dress in your best and your team could win the Absolutely Stunning $100 cash prize for best dress group.

The cash prize is up for grabs on all three days of competition and all you need is a bit of stylish creativity and five people in your group.

Also running over the three-day rugby festival is the Tui Yeah Right best supporters group competition with $100 on each day up for grabs.

All you and five mates have to do is to be the loudest and proudest team support crew – so pick a team and go all out.

Be a mad hatter and win in the Malibu Madness craziest hat competition with $100 cash prize on offer for each of the competition days.

Local charity groups are also in to benefit from the fun festivities of the sevens in heaven competition with the ANZ bank dash for cash races.

The charity dash for cash will be staged on day one of the competition – Thursday 4 starting at 1.30pm which is directly after the opening of the tournament.

This will be a great chance to see some of the speeders of the tournament really show their stuff.

Each team, in both the men’s and women’s tournament will field their fastest player and the winner will be able to nominate a charity to donate their $500 winnings.

A dash for cash race will be staged for spectators with $100 to be won but you must be in costume to race and register at the ANZ tent at the western end of the BCI Stadium to be in the race.

The spectators dash will be run at 5.24pm on Thursday 4, 4.54pm on Friday 5 and at 3.30pm on Saturday 6.

So make sure you get dolled up for what is expected to be a fantastic sevens in heaven tournament.

If you are going to drink – the H zone is the only place you can have a drop and if you drink – don’t drive!
