New Zealand born Cook Islander Geoff Daniela received the Man of the Match Award for his performance in Friday night’s (Thursday night CI time) NRL game between Wests Tigers and the Warriors in Sydney.
Auckland-born Daniela cut loose in the second spell, crossing for a hat-trick of tries in the first 15 minutes after the break.
Daniela moved from the Panthers to Wests Tigers at the start of the 2010 season. Daniela says he joined the club because of coach Tim Sheens and the way he wants his team to play.
Geoff is the son of May and Terae Daniela.
Wests Tigers really found form with a vengeance to hammer the New Zealand Warriors 50-6 in their 12th round National Rugby League match at Campbelltown.
