Today’s Corporate Team Triathlon Challenge is going to be the biggest in history with close to 40 teams registered for the fun and competitive event.

The annual race will be held from the triathlon site in Tikioki and all teams are asked to be at the site by 1.15pm for payment of registration fees and numbering of athletes before the race starts at 2pm sharp!

There are two team categories this year for teams of three athletes and this includes the ‘all discipline’ division which sees each athlete complete the full course before tagging their team mate.

The ‘individual’ category sees each team member complete either the swim, cycle or run leg three times.

The course distance is a 200m swim, 8km cycle and a 2km run.

Each team must have at least two of the team members as part of the business, sports team, company entering or be the spouse or partner of an employee of the company, department entering.

There are some fun prizes to be won on the day with lots of smiles, sweat and laughter to be had.

Bring along your barbeque and mats for afterwards, the Hash drinks will be available, with music to listen to as the sun sets. Cheerleaders especially welcome!
