Big birthday bash in Delhi

Team Cook Islands administrator Siniva Marsters (cutting cake) celebrated her 30th birthday on Thursday surrounded by the athletes she works to ensure are taken care of every day.

As team administrator, Marsters was the first to land in India to make sure the team’s accommodation in Tower 10 was ready for the athletes and officials.

She also negotiated accreditation, including last minute ones, and made sure that the needs of Team Cook Islands athletes were met.

She has also been the right hand woman of chef de mission George George – attending meetings and negotiating for products and services for Team Cook Islands.

In return the team bought Marsters a cake and gifts and sang ‘happy birthday’ in the dining hall at the games village.

Marsters wasn’t expecting much fuss over her birthday but the team felt that they needed to show their appreciation for the hard work she had done and continues to do for the team in Delhi, India.
