Squeals of excitement greeted sports enthusiast and coach Ake Hosea-Winterflood when she turned up to St Josephs Primary School yesterday to deliver her ANZ Tamariki Sports programme.

Hosea is on a mission to mould healthy Cookie kids and this time round she is delivering a fun filled athletics programme for Rarotonga primary school kids.

She has decided to get little legs moving ahead of the annual Prince of Wales inter-primary school athletics competition scheduled for early October after the Kukis versus Kiwis rugby league test.

Through the summer Hosea taught hordes of local kids to swim properly and recently she helped kids ace their tennis swings.

Any school keen to have Hosea come and put the kids through fun and fantastic athletics lessons can contact her on 24681.
