Airport Jets win business golf

The Airport Jets golf team led by captain Henry Royle Henry reigned supreme over others to take out the title of Business House Champions for this year.

The other four major place getters were: 2nd Pitt Media Group, 3rd Klassic Pearls, 4th TJ Browne, and 5th Island Air Express.

The business house golf tournament was played over 13 weeks by 54 teams – the highest number of participating teams in the history of the event.

The tournament is renowned for its ability to introduce new patrons to the game of golf, create a fun filled atmosphere both on the golf course and at the club house, but mostly it presents an opportunity for team bonding and forming of new friendships between players and sponsors.

It was certainly a pleasure watching all 54 teams strut their stuff on the golf course and most of all enjoying the special moments – teams jumping for joy when the little white ball rolls into the hole, an anguished look on a player’s faces after their putt stubbornly refuses to drop.

Overall it was one of the best events anyone could be part of and no doubt next year holds bigger and better moments for our business golf teams.
