Sevens in Heaven 2010 will be BIG and better than ever!

The biggest ever Cook Islands International Sevens tournament will kick start tomorrow with a total of 71 games to be played over three days by 25 teams.

The 16 men’s and 9 women’s teams will strut their stuff at the BCI Stadium for the opening of the tournament at 1pm before lacing up their boots for the ANZ bank charity players dash for cash at 1.30pm and the first game at 3pm.

The first four games of the day will be women’s matches with central New Zealand women’s teams Hastings Rugby and Sports facing off against Napier Tech Rugby.

At 5.24pm the first spectator’s dash for cash will be run before games continue.

The first CITC costume competition of the three-day tournament will be judged at 7.04pm so don’t forget to get dressed up and you and your team of 5 could win $100 cash.

The final game on day one is scheduled for 8.04pm.

On Friday – the games will kick straight into action at 3pm and will include another dash for cash race and dress up competition before a full on day of games on Saturday.

Games on Saturday start at 9.30am and the action will continue right up to the grand final at 7.40pm.
