3 customers win ANZ comp

Three ANZ Cook Islands customers have converted accounts into cash with the banks Rugby World Cup competition.

The bank was running a World Cup savings account competition through September, offering merchandise and cash prizes to people who opened an account through the month.

Mohammad Ahktar won the banks first prize, snaring $100 and a merchandise pack for his efforts.

Steve Kautai won second prize and Janice Stanborough and Ashley Moore took the third prize in the draw, taking home $75 and $50 respectively as well as a merchandise pack.

ANZ chief executive David Dennis said the competition was just one of several it was running for staff and customers during the World Cup.

The Cook Islands has been gripped by Rugby World Cup fever as it is a very important part of our community and we wanted to offer our customers, both old and new, the chance to be part of the excitement as well, he said.
