Purse seine fishing activity in the Cook Islands will see an increase in the skipjack tuna catch.

The Ministry of Marine Resources (MMR) has been granted approval by Cabinet to undertake a second round of negotiations to assign the remainder of the 1,250 days purse seine allocation for 2015.
