A number of businesses will be open during certain days and times over New Year's weekend.

Shops and supermarkets

24/7 Stores – Wigmore’s Super store in Titikaveka ph 20206; Super Brown in Tupapa ph 20140 or Takeaways 20840 and Nikao ph 26141 are open 24/7.

Prime Foods Ltd – Open today Friday 8am to 6pm; closed New Year’s Day through to Tuesday 4 January; reopen Wednesday 5 January.

CITC: Supermarket - Today Friday open from 8am to 6pm; closed New Year’s Day and Monday 3rd January; reopen Tuesday 4 January 8am to 3pm.

CITC Liquor – Open today Friday from 9am to 6pm; New Year’s Day open from 9am to 6pm; open Monday 3 January 9am to 1pm; closed Tuesday 4 January.

The Bond Store – Open New Year’s Day 9am to 7pm; closed Monday 3 and Tuesday 4 January.

Café restaurants, clubs and bars

Palace One Takeaway and Annie’s Café – Closed New Year’s Day through to Tuesday 4 January; reopen January 5.

Rarotonga Golf Club in Nikao – Closed New Year’s Day through to Tuesday 4 January; reopen Wednesday 5 January.

Cook Islands Game Fishing Club in Tupapa – Closed New Year’s Day, open Monday 3 and Tuesday 4 January from 1pm.

Rarotonga Bowling Club in Tutakimoa – Open New Year’s Day from 3pm; open Monday 3 and Tuesday 4 January from 3pm (Please note that only the bar will be open, the green will stay closed).

Vaiana’s Bar & Bistro – Closed New Year’s Day; open Monday 3 and Tuesday 4 January from 12noon until late.

OTB Restaurant – Closed today through to Wednesday 5 January; reopen on Thursday 6 January.

TRIO’s Garden Bar – Closed New Year’s Day and Monday 3 January; open Tuesday 4th January from 2pm.

Trader Jacks – Today Friday there is live entertainment by Tok at 1.30pm, Pat at 4.30pm and TJ Band from 8pm; New Year’s Day open with live bands - Pat at 1pm, Tok at 2pm and Tumupu from 5pm; Monday 3 and Tuesday 4 January closed.

Waterline Restaurant and Bar – Closed today Friday until Tuesday 4 January, reopen Wednesday 5 January.

Charlie's Café – Closed New Year’s Day to Tuesday 4 January; reopen on Wednesday 5 January.

The Islander Hotel – Open every day from 8am. New Year’s Day is an Ala Carte menu with a live band from 12noon.

Castaway Resort – Open tonight and every night including New Year’s Day onwards. Bar open 4pm-9pm, Dinner from 6pm-8.30pm, Call 21546.
