FIFTEEN Pacific island meteorological services across the region were gifted laptops at last week’s week-long workshop in Avarua. Pacific Islands met services from around the region underwent training on how to use the system using the new laptops equipped with the software that will help strengthen meteorological service officers’ forecasting abilities.
